Освен да се забавляваме с есенните листа можем да направим интересни проекти - In addition to having fun with autumn leaves, we can make interesting projects.
Aims of the activity:
- The child learns fine motor skills with the help of a needle (sewing hedgehogs), - creating mandalas as a mindfulness and artistic practice, - using glue with natural parts. Activity necessities: - cardboard, leaves and other natural loose parts, glue, paintbrush. Instructions: Children were offered to glue the natural materials on the prepared cardboard (circles of different sizes were drawn on the cardboard). We've had pre-activities with putting the natural materials on the different lines before (straight and curved) before this activity. Evaluation: They enjoyed the activity, especially some children. They wanted to put a lot of leaves on the lines. The best part of the activity for them was the usage of glue and the paintbrush. They could've continue applying glue on and on. Sewing was a special challenge for them. I was surprised that all children had interest for the activity and most of them were patient enough to sew around 6-7 needles on the hedgehog. They were willing to learn sewing and the usage of the needle. It was the second activity with sewing for them. At the first time, they were sewing the buttons on a felt rose.
